Induction v/s Gas Cooktop

There has been a lot of competition in the market, since the time induction cooktops have come in. Many are in favor of the advanced induction cooktop while many choose to be loyal towards the traditional gas cooktop. Both of them have their own advantages and disadvantages. It is your choice to decide which one is better.

When it comes to items like stoves, the foremost important factor is to consider safety. Let’s see which one is safer? – Induction or Gas Cooktops.

We are very familiar with the use of the traditional gas cooktop, and hence we do know the precautions to be taken while operating it. But while you are using the gas cooktop, you are dealing with the naked flame of fire. That is much of a risk. Too much precaution and attention needs to be given to it. Also, there are many chances of gas leakage and other accidents. And again, there are no emergency alarms that go on when a danger is expected.

On the other hand, induction cooktops do not have any fire flames. They just get heated up, and they cool down as soon as the cookware is taken off. Some induction cooktops have automatic shutdown features as well as child safety systems. So, considering safety, induction cooktops are safer as compared to gas cooktops.
